We want your Fig pair to be your favorite pair. Typically, worn underwear cannot be returned or exchanged. But at Fig, we know that life happens and not everything is black and white!
With our Favorite Pair Guarantee, you can try one pair of each style and size you order risk free, and return what doesn’t work within 30 days of your order for a full refund. Any duplicate unworn pairs in your order may be returned according to our return policy. If you order a bundle, try one pair first, and return the rest (unworn) within the 30 day window for a refund on the entire bundle.
We recommend wearing each style for a full day before washing the remainder of your order to be sure you are happy with the size and styles purchased.
When it comes to doing laundry, we like to hit the easy button at Fig. Wash our basics cold with like colors. You may tumble dry low, or ditch your dryer and dry flat to save energy and planet Earth. Fun Fig Fact: Air-drying your clothes can reduce the average household’s carbon footprint by 2,400 pounds a year!

Breaking the rules isn’t our thing, and New York State law prohibits the resale of opened underwear. Opened, unworn underwear are donated in keeping with our pledge to make the world a better place.
Fig Fact #2: Underwear insecurity is real with over 11.6 million kids (that’s 1 in 6!) under the age of 18 living in families with insufficient income to cover the expense of underwear as a basic need.
At Fig, we care deeply about the environment and your health. We also want to be good humans to all humans, and work hard to ensure that everyone involved in the production of Fig basics is treated fairly and operates under safe working conditions.
All of our garments are made with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton. The GOTS standard is recognized as the highest processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. To become GOTS certified, textiles are evaluated throughout the entire manufacturing process by third party organizations to ensure they meet high-level environmental and social criteria.
GOTS forbids the use of harmful pesticides, toxic heavy metals, and chlorine bleach. It requires that all dyes meet safety requirements on toxicity and biodegradability. And the factories that produce our products are required to provide safe working conditions and fair wages for all of their employees.
Feeling good and doing good actually CAN be basic.

All of our clothes are made by Ecovest, a textile design and manufacturing company located in Portugal dedicated to the development and production of styles and fashion collections in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Ecovest has achieved the highest standards of fabrication, earning the SMETA certification and all of our clothes are GOTS certified.

We are committed to helping you find the perfect pair! If your order isn’t quite right, please contact us at hello@figforkids.com within 21 calendar days of the order’s delivery date to initiate a return or exchange. Returns or exchanges are offered on unwashed, unworn items that are sent back to us in pristine condition. Due to our commitment to sustainability and to avoid clothing waste, outside of our Favorite Pair Guarantee, worn or washed items are final sale.
Exchanges are free! To start an exchange email us at hello@figforkids.com with your order number. We will then provide you with a free return label, and once your return package is received at our warehouse, the replacement product(s) will be mailed to you. You’ll receive an email with new tracking information when the new items you ordered are on their way.
Returns have a $8 handling fee per return label, which is waived if you opt for an exchange. Please contact us at hello@figforkids.com with your order number to receive a return label. You have 14 calendar days from the day you receive the return label (via email) to mail your items. Once the return is received and processed, orders will either be refunded (minus the handling fee) to the original payment method or for store credit to use towards a future purchase.
Please note, original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Live across the pond, down under and in between? We are working on the logistics of shipping internationally, but at the moment Fig is only available in the United States. In the meantime, please let us know if you would like to place an international order and we will see what we can do.
You will receive a tracking number via email shortly after your order ships. Due to ongoing carrier delays, please allow up to 10 business days for your package to scan in transit.
Please note that packages are sometimes prematurely marked as delivered by carriers. We ask that you wait 3 business days after the package is marked as delivered. If the package doesn't arrive after 3 business days, please reach out to our customer service team at hello@figforkids.com no later than 10 days after delivery so we can help.
